Reverse Transfer Agreements
LCC has reverse transfer agreements to assist students who have transferred to another institution, but have not completed an associate degree at Lansing Community College. These agreements will create a process for students who have transferred from LCC to any of the partner universities to be awarded an associate degree from LCC with the help of credits earned at the university. Each of the partner universities strongly encourages students to receive the associate degree before transferring, or by combining credits from the community college and the university (see the individual agreements for details).

Consortium Transfer Agreements
A consortium agreement is a contract between two colleges that recognizes your registration at each location for the purposes of credit completion, graduation requirements, and, in some cases, for financial aid purposes. These agreements allow you to dual-enroll in both institutions and to complete your credential at each institution concurrently.
