Ways to Cover Education Costs
There are four types of types of financial aid and we recommend that all students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Scholarship eligibility varies based on financial need, academic merit, field of study, talent, athletic participation, etc. Students can apply for scholarships at LCC, the State of Michigan, community organizations, and their employer. For the most part, these funds do not need to be repaid.
Loans
Loans are available through the federal government. Students also have the option of taking out loans from a private lender. These funds must be repaid.
