To All LCC Employees:

President Steve Robinson announced today that LCC leadership has designated Wednesday, 12/23/20, as Employee Appreciation Day and all campuses will be closed. Please follow these instructions for completing your timesheet on the following campus closed day:

  • Wednesday, December 23, 2020 – All Day – All LCC Campuses
Employees Not Required to Work:
  • Record regularly scheduled hours for 12/23/20 as Closed Campus (CLO) on timesheet.
  • Employees that were scheduled to use leave on 12/23/20 should change timesheet to reflect Closed Campus (CLO) for the Employee Appreciation Day.
Employees Required to Work:

Examples:  Public Safety, Facilities, Payroll, etc.

  • Record actual time worked on timesheet as you normally would.
  • Use the Closed Campus (CLO) day prior to 06/30/21 on a regularly scheduled work day.
    • At the time of use, record the regularly scheduled hours for 12/23/20 as Closed Campus (CLO) on timesheet.
    • Enter comment on timesheet: "Employee Appreciation Day"
Employees Required to Work Partial Day on 12/23/20:
  • Record actual time worked on timesheet for 12/23/20 as you normally would.
  • Record the remaining hours scheduled but not required to work as Closed Campus (CLO) on timesheet.
  • The hours that you actually worked on 12/23/20 may be used as Closed Campus (CLO) time off prior to 06/30/21 on a different regularly scheduled work day.
    • At the time of use, record the remaining portion of regularly scheduled hours for 12/23/20 as Closed Campus (CLO) on timesheet.
    • Enter comment on timesheet: "Employee Appreciation Day"
Employees Not Scheduled to Work on 12/23/20:

Examples:  Teaching Faculty, Employees on Furlough, etc.

  • Use the Closed Campus (CLO) day prior to 06/30/21 on a regularly scheduled work day.
    • At the time of use, record the regularly scheduled hours for 12/23/20 as Closed Campus (CLO) on timesheet.
    • Enter comment on timesheet: "Employee Appreciation Day"

Timesheet instructions for the remainder of the winter break, 12/24/20-01/03/21, can be found on the Payroll website, Holiday Time Reporting webpage.

Early timesheet – Christmas/New Year holidays 2020-21 reminder:

  • Timesheet Submissions are due by 10:00am on Thursday, 12/17/20.
  • Timesheet Approvals need to be completed by 10:00am on Friday, 12/18/20.
  • Timesheet adjustments are due no later than 1:00pm on Friday, 12/18/20.

Please note that if you have submitted your timesheet, you may need to return/recall your timesheet to enter the closed campus time. Supervisors will also have the ability to make any adjustments for the closed campus entry.
