Prepare for Student Loan Payments to Restart
The student loan payment pause is extended until the U.S. Department of Education is permitted to implement the debt relief program or the litigation is resolved.
Students who have an outstanding loan balance will receive a notice to resume scheduled repayment after the expiration of the suspension. Federal Student Aid has created a toolkit to assist students with restarting student loan payments.
LCC has partnered with Student Connections to make sure every borrower who is eligible for loan forgiveness receives it, and help any borrower with a remaining balance to navigate and prepare for when repayment resumes. This service is completely free to you. Student Connections Borrower Advocates can help answer any questions you have and determine what steps you need to take. Borrower Advocates may be reached at (866) 311-9450.
