A safe zone or a safe space is a confidential place where all people can bring their authentic selves and feel safe, welcome and included.
Chosen Name & Pronoun Initiative
At LCC we strive to make sure everyone feels valued, accepted and welcomed. A new procedure now allows all LCC students, faculty, and staff to select the name and pronouns they use that will be integrated into most systems at the college.
Meditation Room Now Available
Designed to provide a space to rest and reflect for 10, 20, 30 minutes, etc.
