Military Experience = College Credit
We value your service and will give you credit for it. We will evaluate your military experience for a possible award of credits towards your program of choice. Once you have been admitted to LCC, the total number of credits awarded will be based off of your military transcript.
LCC will evaluate your military credit for a possible award of transfer credit after your official transcript has been received and you have been admitted to the college.
Joint Services Transcript (JST)
The JST that has replaced the Coast Guard Institute Transcript, the Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS) and the Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART). JST is an academically accepted document approved by the American Council on Education (ACE) to validate a service member's military occupational experience and training along with the corresponding ACE college credit recommendations.
Air Force
Access au.af.mil/au/ccaf/ for several options when requesting official transcripts. Online requests are available if accessed from a secured .mil network. All other requests must be made using the Transcript Request Form available on the aforementioned site and then mailed to the following address.
