Great students use the library, and students who use the library become great. At LCC, the library is more than just a quiet place to study; it is where students get equitable access to the tools they need to create, learn and thrive.
Through the Library of Things, students can check out technology and practical resources that remove barriers and open doors in the classroom and beyond. Demand is growing, and students and faculty have asked for more high-need items. Your Star Day gift will help us expand the collection with tools students can use right away, including:
- Art, Design and Digital Media: a photo scanner, camera and drawing tablet
- Presentation Support: a portable projector, external monitor and presentation pointer for communication students and student organizations
- Study Support at Home: white noise machines to support focus and calm in study spaces
These items will be available to all LCC students, so every learner has a fair shot at success.
