Lansing Community College

2nd degree nursing track application window is extended

LCC's 2nd Degree Nursing track application deadline has been extended to September 3rd, 2024. Completing your Nursing Signoff Advising Appointment for the 2024 application cycle is still required. All of the course and degree admission requirements must be successfully completed by the end of LCC's Summer 2024 semester to be eligible; Fall classes and degrees are not accepted. Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended (other than LCC and international schools) must be received by LCC’s Registrars Office by August 1st.

*Effectively immediately, the Advanced Standing Nursing track (for Paramedics, LPNs, and Respiratory Therapists) is paused due to declining interest. This track will not be available for at least the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. If interest in this track increases in the future, the college may offer it again. If you have questions, please contact the Nursing Program Director, Dr. Teri Logghe (  /  517-483-9695).

LCC's Nursing program is selective admission. In order to be considered, students must meet admission requirements beyond those required for general admission to the college. There is no wait-list to enter the program; instead, acceptance is based on a point system. Check out the Nursing Advising Guides for the application process and admission requirements.
