I provide professional counseling services to help you develop the life skills necessary
to reach your educational goals, and to live a life that is personally enriching to
you and to our entire community.
I can help you with addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, relationship
problems, mindset, emotional regulation, communication skills, stress management,
identity and purpose, and more.
My approach as a mental health counselor is holistic and meaning-oriented. I believe
that wellbeing involves the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and that counseling
is most effective when it helps you make sense of where you are, how you got here,
and where you are empowered to go next. Many students seek counseling not only to
solve problems, but also to discover coherence in their story, significance in their
struggles, and purpose in their next steps. My goal is to help you understand your
experiences, clarify your values, and move toward a life that feels aligned, meaningful,
and full of possibility.
I believe we are happiest when we can clearly identify and authentically express who
we are, skillfully manage our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and freely pursue
the relationships and goals that bring us fulfillment. Because of this, my work often
integrates attention to physical health, relationships, and environments that support
your growth.
I enjoy working with students in all the ways they are diverse, including race, ethnicity,
age, spirituality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political
worldview, and more. I encourage you to consider using our professional services,
and I look forward to working with you.
