LCC set to hold its next C3R Summit

G3R COALITION FOR COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS Please save the date for the next C3R Summit. Oct. 6, 2022, 6 p.m., West Campus LANSING COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Lansing, Mich. – (Sept. 27, 2022) Lansing Community College will hold its next Coalition for College and Career Readiness (C3R) Summit at 6 p.m. on Oct. 6 at LCC’s West Campus located at 5708 Cornerstone Drive.
 
The summit will focus on C3R’s history and its student transition work and will feature a panel discussion on Ready for Launch, a program that supports students on the autism spectrum. A new project in partnership with Peckham, Inc., the nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization will also be discussed. C3R’s role in helping Peckham Team Members enroll and be successful at LCC will be highlighted.
 
“We’re excited that this Coalition for College and Career Readiness Summit will focus on the work C3R is doing and has done,” said LCC Director of K-12 Operations Leah Melichar. “We know that students might need additional support as they transition to college.”
 
Dinner will be served for all in-person attendees and registration for the in-person option closes Sept. 28. There is also a virtual option for those who would prefer to attend online. Registration for the online option closes on Oct. 5.
