LCC Connect set to launch

Original programming hosted by LCC faculty, staff and community begins Jan. 8

New Year, New Vibe. LCC Connect | Voices Vibes Vision | Launching in Jauary on 89.7FM! lcc.edu/connect Lansing Community College and Michigan Radio formalized a management and programming agreement late last year that expands Michigan Radio’s coverage to include WLNZ 89.7.

As part of the agreement, LCC will continue to produce and air local programming on WLNZ each week, at 1 p.m. on Saturdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays beginning Jan. 8. LCC Connect is the voices, vibes and vision of Lansing Community College and will spotlight college academic programs and events, along with news, information and interviews.

“There are so many great stories at Lansing Community College and we’re so excited to share them on LCC Connect,” said LCC President Steve Robinson. “This unique combination of terrestrial FM radio and on-demand streaming is very exciting for us. Our partnership with Michigan Radio is an innovative way to tell our story.”

LCC Connect is proud to partner with Michigan Radio – Michigan’s NPR news leader to bring news and conversations relevant to all aspects of life in the Great Lakes State. You can listen to Michigan Radio now on WLNZ 89.7.
