Pedal with the Prez

LANSING, Mich. – LCC President Steve Robinson’s Pedal with the Prez event continues for the fifth consecutive year with the season kick-off ride scheduled for 5:30 p.m. May 21, beginning at the Granger Clock Tower on the LCC Downtown Campus.

The kick-off ride will include observation of the 18th annual Ride of Silence event that honors and memorializes bicyclists hit and killed or injured by motor vehicles.

Pedal with the Prez will continue bimonthly through September 10. These enjoyable, safe rides will meander along Lansing’s scenic River Trail through downtown, REO Town, and Old Town, always concluding with FREE ice cream at Arctic Corner, courtesy of President Robinson.

Regular low-impact cycling promotes weight loss, builds muscle, strengthens the immune system, boosts brain power, reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer, improves navigational skills, and enhances overall mental well-being.

These rides are free and open to the public. Grab your bike and helmet and join us for the ride. To learn more about Pedal with the Prez and this year’s schedule, visit the Pedal with the Prez website.
