Give your student an unforgettable summer!
Lansing Community College's Youth Summer Camps are a great way for greater Lansing-area kids and students to learn science, math, engineering, biology, animation, fine arts, theatre, and teamwork through fun, interactive, hands-on learning experiences.
With more than 25 in-person camps offered each summer at LCC’s East Campus, there’s a camp to match every child’s interest in grades 2 – 12! LCC instructors develop new camps each year, so there’s always a new adventure to be had with camps like music video production, robotics, dance, cooking, nature and wildlife exploration, science experiments and many more!
Morning, afternoon or all-day camp sessions are available, with convenient before- and after-care options for early drop-offs or late pickups. New camps start weekly throughout the summer, so your learner doesn’t have to pick just one!
Camp registration opens March 1 each year, and those who register early (more than 30 days before the camp start date) receive an early registration discount. Learn more about pricing in the camp descriptions below; limited scholarships are available.

Using the employee Tuition Waiver benefit toward LCC Youth Summer Camps
Employees may apply their Tuition Waiver benefit toward LCC Youth Summer Camp costs for eligible dependents. If you plan to enroll your child, choose a camp once it’s posted and start the Tuition Waiver process before registration opens on March 1—spaces fill fast.
Tuition Waiver Request and Dependent Enrollment Process:
- Complete the Tuition Waiver Form -- Youth Program on the HR LCC Tuition Waiver website.
- Once HR approves, Centralized Services will complete the camp registration for your dependent; employees do not use the Youth Program website to register.
- Once your dependent is registered, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance owed for camp tuition after your Tuition Waiver Benefit has been applied.
Questions related to the Tuition Waiver benefit can be directed to the HR Benefits team at 517-483-1869 or lcc-hr-benefits@lcc.edu. Summer camp registration questions can be directed to CEWD at 517-483-9853 or CEWD_registration@lcc.edu.
