Vision Statement
Our vision is to target unemployed, underemployed, and at risk populations in our region to create bridge programs that link to employment opportunities. We will deliver accelerated or compressed programs in high demand areas to obtain the jobs skills necessary for employment. Employment Data will be used to determine areas of focus from CAMW, data labor and other available resources.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Job Training Center is to provide a quality learning experience for students pursuing job skills for employment, using year-round instruction with multiple starting dates and hands-on curriculum. These programs will be designed to articulate into our credit degree programs to achieve student success. This mission also includes providing employers with a highly skilled new employee that has appropriate credentials and skills to be successful. College credit may be awarded toward a certificate or associate degree in specific programs and will be contingent upon pre-review and approval of the academic Dean.
Benefits
Salaries and job opportunities are determined through research and direct contact with area businesses. Occupations may be linked with other certificate and associate degree classes as well as four year institutions. Programs may be credit and/or non-credit. Individuals may become employed after the initial training package and continue on with their education for higher level employment.
Would you like to talk to someone about a training opportunity we currently offer or you hope to see in the future?
