Lansing Community College offers a variety of awards and scholarships every year for qualified students. Whether you are working toward an associate degree, certificate, or two-year transfer degree, LCC has a program designed for your success.
Awards and scholarships are resources that do not have to be paid back and are usually awarded for academic achievement or talent that may or may not be based on financial need.
Selection criteria and requirements vary according to the individual award or scholarship. Please click on the links below to learn more about the many award and scholarship opportunities available from LCC.
All scholarship awards have been announced for Fall 2023/Spring 2024.
The scholarship application for Fall 2024/Spring 2025 will open on November 1, 2023.
For Organizations submitting scholarship payments on behalf of specific students, it is important to provide student information (student’s full name and student number) and any specific requirements regarding the distribution of the award such as award year or term, and how funds are to be applied (tuition, fees, books, educational expenses, etc.). Also, indicate if any remaining scholarships funds can be paid directly to the student or be returned to the organization at the end of the semester or award year. Upon receipt of the scholarship funds, it generally takes two weeks before the student is awarded the funds; so, be sure to send funds early in order to ensure payment due dates are met.
