The College will refund tuition and fees according to the following, except where superseded by law, to a student who drops a course.

Refunds
A student who drops a course according to the 100% and 50% deadlines in the Academic Calendar will be entitled to a refund of all or a portion of tuition and fee charges, based upon the date of dropping the course. Refunds of the charges do not include the registration fee, any non-refundable course fee and 50% of the student support fee, when dropped during the 50% refund period.

The student is responsible for dropping a course. For more details on how to drop a course, please visit the Registration webpage, call (517) 483-1200, visit the StarZone located in the Gannon Building, or log in into Banner and select Register (Add, Drop, Withdrawal, Waitlist Courses).

Please note: Dropping a course may require you to pay money back to the College if you have received financial aid. Before dropping, Contact the Financial Aid Office at (517) 483-1200 option 1 or financialaid@star.lcc.edu.
