Career Community: Science and Mathematics
Curriculum Code: 1863
Effective: Fall 2025 – Summer 2030
Purpose of Program
This degree is designed for students wishing to transfer after having completed an Associate degree. This Enhanced degree option allows completion of credits required for employment or transfer through the A.A.S. and completion of additional courses required for the Bachelor’s degree, as designated by transfer articulation agreements. Required coursework follows for the Agricultural Technology Track of the Agricultural Technology/Veterinary Nursing, Enhanced degree.
Completion of the Track
Students may enter this curriculum in one of two ways. A student may begin at LCC, taking General Education classes, and apply to the Institute for Agricultural Technology (IAT) for admittance to one of the specific concentrations including Agricultural Industries, Dairy Management, Electrical Technology, Fruit, Vegetable and Organic Horticulture Management, Horse Management, Landscape and Nursery Management, Livestock Industries, Sports and Commercial Turf Management, and Turfgrass Management Golf Course. Alternatively, students may be admitted first to a specific Certificate program in the IAT and then decide to enter the joint program to receive the AAS degree.
Program of Study Required Courses - Enhanced Degree
Completing courses as directed meets transfer articulation agreement requirements for each institution.
LCC makes every effort to limit revisions to the pathways during their effective timeframe. However, the College reserves the right to update certificate and degree title changes, and make course changes as needed, without prior notice.
