The Job Training Center (JTC) at Lansing Community College aims to offer a wide variety of short-term training programs designed to help participants prepare for careers that will be in demand for years to come. Based on the needs of local Lansing-area employers, the JTC develops quick, relevant training for those seeking to change careers, increase their pay or improve their employment prospects. The training courses are often free or at a reduced price for eligible participants.

The JTC staff is ready to help connect you with resources to fund your education. These funds are sourced through third-party programs as well as the state-funded Michigan Reconnect Program.
Two scholarships are available through the Michigan Reconnect program, specifically for non-credit programs like those offered through the LCC Job Training Center.
Your JTC staff member will help you determine eligibility. Additionally, assistance is available for those who need a laptop, access to the internet or overcoming other barriers to successfully complete a training program. Please note: not all will qualify for these tuition-free programs or scholarships.
