Thursday, March 26, 2026 - 11:30 am - 1:00 PM
Michigan Room, Gannon Building
Our 2026 theme is “Invest in Women: Invest in the Future.” Women make up the majority of the nation’s elementary school teachers, nurses, administrative assistants, home health aides, customer service representatives, accountants and social workers. In total, women represent 47% of the labor force. Moreover, women make up more than half of the college-educated labor force.
The working world does not work without women.
And yet, women in 2024 earned, on average, only 85% of what men earned, according to the Pew Research Center. This wage gap is more pronounced for Black, Latina and Indigenous women.
Come be part of the movement to build stability for families today and create a stronger, more equitable foundation for the generations to come.
