LCC Foundation seeks Distinguished Alumni nominations
Nomination process is now open

Since 1991, LCC has honored an outstanding alumnus who has excelled in their career and in service to their community. Nominations are accepted from family members, coworkers, former classmates, or anyone with knowledge of a nominee’s achievements. Self-nominations are also accepted.
The Distinguished Alumni are selected by the LCC Foundation Alumni Committee and Lansing Community College representatives.
Kelli Ellsworth Etchison was the 2025 Distinguished Alum. She graduated summa cum laude from Lansing Community College in 2007 with an associate degree in general studies. She serves as both chief marketing officer and chief diversity officer at LAFCU, where she has spent nearly 40 years of her career.
The 2026 Distinguished Alumni will be recognized at LCC’s commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 7, at the Jack Breslin Center on Michigan State University’s campus.
