LCC launching new program
Continuing Education to offer new program this spring

The Marine Technician pathway teaches students the essential skills needed to maintain boats in Michigan’s waterways. With 3,822 miles of coastline, the beautiful state of Michigan has the longest freshwater coastline in the country and the second largest number of registered boats.
Students in the Marine Maintenance Technician program will learn how to diagnose and maintain inboard and outboard engines and propulsion systems, electrical wiring and plumbing systems. In addition, safety, terminology and customer service skills specific to the marine industry will be discussed.
This is an amazing opportunity to earn a unique lifetime Mercury Marine Technician number to be used throughout your career as a Marine Maintenance Technician. Additional certifications achieved during the program include OSHA 10, American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid and the preparation needed to sit for the American Boat & Yacht Council Marine Service Technology Exam.
The deadline to register is Feb. 2, 2024. Have questions or need more information? Call 855-520-6806.
