Lansing, Mich. – Lansing Community College Board of Trustees held their first meeting of 2023 on Jan. 23. Trustees Ryan Buck and Angela Mathews were sworn in to serve six-year terms following their re-election last November.

Trustee Buck was administered the oath of office by the Honorable Morgan Cole and Trustee Mathews’ oath was administered by the Honorable Kristen Simmons. Trustee Robert Proctor was also re-elected in November but was unable to attend Monday’s meeting.

The Board of Trustees designated Trustee Angela Mathews to serve as their next chair, with Trustee Lawrence Hidalgo, Jr. as vice chair, Trustee LaShunda Thomas as secretary and Trustee Robert Proctor as treasurer.
