Kimberly Farley Memorial Scholarship

Kimberly Farley was an employee of Lansing Community College for over 40 years. During her career she touched the lives of thousands of LCC students. She desired that donations in her memory be used to assist LCC students with financial need.

In her role as Library Instruction Coordinator, Kim worked closely with faculty from across campus. Kim also spent time in the LCC Advising Center as an academic advisor. Kim graduated from LCC with an Associate’s Degree in Library and Media Technology. She subsequently received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. Kim made many friendships at LCC and will be sorely missed by her library and college colleagues.
