Support the Next Generation of Students

Your generosity matters. Change doesn’t happen all at once; it is built step by step, gift by gift. Today, more than ever, technical and trades education matters. As the economy and state change, employers need more skilled tradespeople to help our community thrive.

According to Michigan Talent Connect, about 45,000 new jobs in professional trades will open across the state each year through 2030. Without robust trades education, too many of these jobs will go unfilled.
Lansing Community College is a proven pipeline of talent, opening opportunities that change lives and the trajectory of families. Students come to LCC from every city, neighborhood and town in mid-Michigan. Many of them need financial support to succeed.

That’s why, in 2007, the LCC Foundation Board of Directors established the Next Generation Endowed Scholarship to support students in high-demand and emerging programs. Today, the scholarship changes the lives of two students every year. Our goal is to raise more than $100,000 to expand that support now and in perpetuity.
