Support Students Returning to Their Education

Dr. Stanley Chase is the currently CEO of S/Y Chase Consulting and The Chairman of the Board of Directors and Administrative Pastor Of Kingdom Ministries. Dr. Chase is consistently engaged with his community through serving on the Board of Directors of Child and Family Charities, Member and Past President of the Exchange Club Lansing and Past District President of the Exchange Club of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana!

 Dr. Chase held the office of Vice President at Michigan’s 3^rd   largest community college, Lansing Community College (LCC).  Dr. Chase joined LCC in 1997. During his tenure at Lansing Community College, Dr. Chase has held many positions such as; Director of Student Services-West; Assistant Dean; Director of Student Judicial Affairs, etc.  Before his employment with LCC, DR. Chase was a faculty member at Grand Valley State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and performed independent consulting through his business, Chase Consulting Corporation.  Other positions held by Dr. Chase include  K-12 superintendent (10 years), elementary principal and elementary teacher.

Dr. Chase earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education from Bowie State University located in Maryland.  He received a Master’s of Arts in Educational Administration from Michigan State University.  He also received his Ph.D. in Educational Administration at Michigan State University in 2004.

Dr. Chase's family established this scholarship to honor Dr. Chase and to support non-traditional students who are returning to education after a gap. Preference is also given to students with families and students who are the heads of single-parent households.
