The annual Student Recognition Celebration is traditionally held to honor outstanding Lansing Community College students in the areas of academics, leadership, community service engagement and participation in registered student organizations.
This year's event will be held on Friday April 24 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the downtown campus Michigan Room and will begin with a lunch buffet, followed by the awards program.

For academic achievement or high LCC GPA
Emerging Student Leader Award
For leadership or commitment to the advancement of the mission and goals of LCC
Community Service Impact Award
For meaningful service inside or outside of LCC
College awards will be based on the strength of the award eligibility statement and chosen by a selection committee.

Program Award
Administrators, faculty and staff may award one student for an outstanding achievement as a participant in an LCC program. Nominators are responsible for presenting the certificate award to the student at the event. Student Life will supply this special certificate award for you to present.
Registered Student Organization Award
Student Organization advisors may award one student for their exemplary leadership qualities as an officer or member of an LCC registered student group. Nominators are responsible for presenting the certificate award to the student at the event. Student life will supply this special certificate award for you to present.
