Blake Bowen

Theatre Faculty

Blake Bowen is an Instructor and Director in the LCC Theatre Department and an Administrator in Student Affairs. He has his B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington and Master's from University of Georgia, Athens. Blake has directed and acted at several local theatres including Peppermint Creek Theatre, MSU, Riverwalk Theatre and LCC. He is a Pulsar Award Winner for Best Director for The Telling Project, Lansing and Heathers: The Musical.

Paige Dunckel

Paige Dunckel earned her B.A. in Theatre and B.A. in Journalism from the University of Arkansas and her M.F.A in Directing from The University of Memphis. She has worked in both educational and professional theatre for more than 30 years. She has received several awards for both her directing and acting in the community.

Robert Fernholz

Technical Director

Robert Fernholz is a Technical Director. He started honing his technical theater skills in High School, which he continued at LCC, first as a student, then as a contract and part-time employee. He left the college and spent the next nine years working as the Director of Special Events for D/S Events Group and another three years working on the production end of Mecum Auctions before returning as Technical Director.

Lauren Mudry

Lauren Mudry (she/her) is a Lansing, MI native and has been dancing for over 30 years and teaching for over 17. She holds an Art degree from Lansing Community College, and Bachelor in Science: Dance from Eastern Michigan University. Lauren is a regional and national dance educator, director, choreographer, teaching artist, and lecturer. She has been on faculty at LCC since 2015 and has had the pleasure of choreographing for numerous plays and musicals on campus.

Chelle Peterson

Theatre Faculty

Chelle Peterson, resident costume designer, also teaches intro to technical theatre, stage makeup and all things costume design and mentors budding sound designers. Chelle is a graduate of both Lansing Community College and Michigan State University, with degrees in Music and Theatre. She is an award winning costume designer, sound designer and composer. She writes music for MSU’s Sensibility Ensemble, which specializes in theatre for young audiences with neuro-diverse children.

Ginneh Thomas

Ginneh Thomas holds a B.S. in psychology from Michigan State University and an M.F.A. in Acting from Southern Methodist University. During the past 20 years, she has worked as a theatre artist with performance experience on stage, in commercials, television, film and with voiceovers. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and holds a Joseph Jefferson Award.

Emma Baker

Emma Baker (she/her) is an adjunct instructor, fight choreographer, and director at Lansing Community College. She received her MFA in Acting from Western Illinois University and her BA in Theatre from Purdue University. She is a Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) certified teacher and is trained in intimacy coordination/choreography with Theatrical Intimacy Education.
