Lansing Community College

Learn to soothe, heal and invigorate with Massage at Lansing Community College. We offer excellent hands-on experiences and will train you in relaxation massage, clinical and sports massage, human anatomy and physiology, business management, and specialty techniques. Lansing Community College's Massage program is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation.

The Massage Therapy Program at LCC

Please refer to the Massage Therapy cost estimator sheet for in-state, out-of-state, and international tuition rates. To verify residency status, please check the Registrar’s Residency page. This cost includes all tuition, course fees, application fees, textbooks, supplies, etc. Financial Aid Process may be available to help with program costs. LCC's Financial Aid office can help navigate this. The Financial Aid office also has information about other state and federal tuition aid programs including Michigan Reconnect. Additionally, LCC offers a variety of awards and scholarships for students. Finally, financial aid opportunities are also available through some massage organizations including American Massage Therapy Association Student Scholarship and Imagine American Foundation.

The daytime massage program is a three-semester commitment that runs through the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Daytime students can expect classes to meet multiple days per week during daytime hours, with Massage Clinic sessions typically concluding by approximately 2:30 p.m. Additional weekend chair massage and sports massage events are scheduled during the Spring and Summer semesters.

The evening massage program is also a three-semester commitment, running through the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Evening students can expect classes to meet several evenings per week, with courses beginning after 5:00 p.m. Massage classes and Clinic sessions may be scheduled until approximately 10:00 p.m. Additional weekend chair massage and sports massage events are scheduled during the Summer and Fall semesters.

You must be an LCC student to be eligible for these courses. With limited seats available each semester, enrollment is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
