You’re invited to Washington Square Review Reads

Join the LCC community for a livestream reading event of the summer 2023 edition of the Washington Square Review. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, and will feature contributing authors from around the globe.

You can join in online. Register in advance to be able to post comments (and emoji!) during the event.

The Washington Square Review is still accepting submissions for the winter 2024 edition. Submissions from current and former LCC students are accepted.

What we are looking for:

  1. Poetry – Submit up to five poems per submission.
  2. Fiction – Submissions should not exceed 5,000 words. Submit one piece per submission.
  3. Creative Nonfiction – This includes essays written for class assignments. Submissions should not exceed 3,000 words. Submit one piece per submission.

All work must be submitted electronically to before 11:59 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
