Free, six-week seminars for social sciences and humanities students
Join this free, six-week, non-credit seminar for students in the social sciences and humanities (SSH) areas of study. If you are thinking about where your discipline leads, whether that means continuing on to a four-year institution or finishing at LCC, this is a way to do that work with support rather than on your own.
Highlights
- Organize your academic and professional materials into a digital portfolio you can keep using
- Draft and refine personal statements, resumes and application materials
- Navigate degree pathways, including Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) requirements
- Learn what a campus visit actually involves, and how to make use of the SSH visits offered each semester
- Explore where a degree in your field tends to lead, in further study and in work
