LCC is creating a dedicated Transfer Center, ensuring you have the resources and individualized assistance to get you where you want to go.

The Transfer Center will be located on the second floor of the Gannon Building, in the area overlooking the Commons. This will centralize LCC’s transfer resources near the StarZone and Academic Success Coach Lounge and will provide the space needed for universities to come on-site to meet with students and host information sessions.

Construction in the Commons will begin as soon as spring classes end and last throughout the summer. Half of the Commons will be closed, including the Gannon Grab & Go Market. (New beverage and snack machines will be available.) Half the seating will be blocked off, and the remainder of the tables will be available for eating or studying.

We expect the entire Commons and the Grab & Go Market to reopen on or around Aug. 8.

The overlook area on the second floor will close beginning Monday, May 5, and will remain closed until the new Transfer Center opens in spring 2026.
