Lansing Community College

Happy Pride Month!

LCC is proud to sponsor the 2026 Lansing Pride Festival, taking place from 1-9 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in Old Town. As Mid-Michigan’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration, Lansing Pride brings together thousands of community members for a day filled with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, local vendors, food, and opportunities to celebrate inclusion, visibility and belonging. The event is free and open to all.

We invite students, alumni and friends of LCC to join us in celebrating and supporting the vibrant LGBTQ+ community across Greater Lansing. Learn more about the festival and event activities at Lansing Pride 2026.

You can also join in celebrating with these great on-campus opportunities.

Read with Pride!

LCC Library is taking part in the American Library Association’s Rainbow Book Month in June. Rainbow Book Month is a nationwide celebration of the authors and writings that reflect the lives and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. Rainbow Book Month provides an opportunity for book lovers and libraries to highlight LGBTQIA+ literature.

A selection of LGBTQIA+ books will be on display on the second floor of the Library throughout June. Explore the virtual book display to view titles on the display, plus additional e-book titles that you can read online.
