Join us for a night of creativity, culture and community!

LCC’s Maya Angelou Training Center will hold a performing arts night in honor of Maya Angelou’s birthday. Students are invited to take the stage and share their voices through song, dance, spoken word and more, just as Maya Angelou used her art to boldly express identity, truth and joy.

This year’s celebration highlights the many ages and stages Maya Angelou impacted, featuring an interactive living history experience and unforgettable performances by LCC stars.

• Dinner: 5–5:30 p.m.
• Performances: 5:30–7 p.m.
