Two new online courses available for Business students
New classes are coming to the School of Business!
Both classes will count toward the Management and Leadership A.B. and the General Business A.B. degrees, and are offered 100% online. Plus, these courses transfer to Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Davenport and Northwood universities.
Principles of Supply Chain Management (MGMT 210)
This course introduces the steps for effectively managing supply chain activities.
You will learn the four foundational perspectives of supply chain management: purchasing,
operations, logistics and process integration.
Offered fall 2026 and spring 2027
Distribution and Logistics (MGMT 220)
This course provides an overview of logistics strategy, with an emphasis on transportation.
Topics include managing the movement of raw materials and finished products, developing
transportation strategies, selecting modes and carriers, and using quantitative models
to support logistics decision-making.
Offered spring 2027 (prerequisite: MGMT 210)
