Spring 2027

  • Science, Culture and Equity (EDUC 122)
Using the (W)Holistic Science Pedagogy framework, and the Next Generation Science Standards/Michigan K-12 Science Standards, students in this course will critically evaluate and revise elementary science curriculum to promote cultural responsiveness, student voice and choice, and coherent learning experiences.

  • Teaching Elementary Math II (EDUC 232)
This course deepens understanding of student thinking, common misconceptions, and curriculum coherence, building on EDUC 231 to strengthen pedagogical and conceptual knowledge for teaching mathematics, with an emphasis on reasoning, proof, and connections among formulas.
