Give back with Empowerment Through Stewardship

Join the Maya Angelou Training Center, SORA Gardens and the Ingham County Land Bank for a meaningful day of community service and connection to the land!

Visit local community gardens, dig into hands-on stewardship, and wrap up with a lunch-and-learn where you will hear about how caring for the land connects us and supports environmental justice. The event is open to all LCC students and employees, and will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, July 31.

Transportation is provided. If traveling with LCC, please meet in the A&S Building, room 1313, by 8:30 a.m.

Seats are limited. Register online by July 25 to reserve your seat.
