The Hispanic Heritage Awareness Committee invites the LCC community to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a joyful tradition honoring loved ones who have passed.

Event highlights will include:

• Skull painting: Express yourself through art while honoring the traditions of Día de los Muertos.
• Altar creation: Add personal photos or items to an altar. The altar will be displayed in the TLC Building, on the second floor in the library.

The event will be held 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Office of Empowerment (Arts & Sciences Building 1313).
