College Connect program returns

Free four-week summer program provides an introduction to the college experience

The College Connect program returns to LCC for weekly skill-building workshops to enhance students' reading, writing, and math skills.

The FREE four-week program will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through Friday, July 7 to July 31, 2026.

College Connect provides a laptop for use throughout the course, free on-campus Wi-Fi, meals and snacks, and CATA bus passes if needed.

Eligibility for the program is determined by the following criteria:
  • Students who graduated from high school between 2024 and 2026
  • Individuals who recently completed their GED
  • New Michigan Reconnect students who will be new to LCC in Fall 2026.
