  1. Enter Credits
Enter the credit amount for each class you completed. If a course transferred in, view your LCC unofficial transcript to determine how many credits were awarded.
*If you did not complete a course or it was waived by a degree, AP exam, or CLEP score, leave the credit, grade, and quality point fields blank.
  2. Enter Grades
Enter your highest earned grade (within 2 attempts) for each course you completed.
*If you did not complete a course or it was waived by a degree, AP exam, or CLEP score, leave the credit, grade, and quality point fields blank.
**If a course transferred into LCC from a college that uses letter grades, use the grading scale found in the Nursing Advising Guide.
  3. Calculate Quality Points
For each course, calculate the quality points by multiplying the credit amount by the grade. For example, a 4 credit class with a 3.5 grade would equal 14 quality points for that class.
    • Credit X Grade = Quality Points
  4. Total credits
Add all of the credits together to determine the total amount of credits.
  5. Total quality points
Add all of the quality points together to determine the total amount of quality points.
  6. Calculate GPA
Divide the total quality points by the total credit amount to get your Nursing GPA.
    • Total Quality Points / Total Credits = Nrusing GPA
