- Enter Credits
Enter the credit amount for each class you completed. If a course transferred in, view your LCC unofficial transcript to determine how many credits were awarded.
*If you did not complete a course or it was waived by a degree, AP exam, or CLEP score, leave the credit, grade, and quality point fields blank. - Enter Grades
Enter your highest earned grade (within 2 attempts) for each course you completed.

**If a course transferred into LCC from a college that uses letter grades, use the grading scale found in the Nursing Advising Guide. - Calculate Quality Points
For each course, calculate the quality points by multiplying the credit amount by the grade. For example, a 4 credit class with a 3.5 grade would equal 14 quality points for that class.- Credit X Grade = Quality Points
- Total credits
Add all of the credits together to determine the total amount of credits. - Total quality points
Add all of the quality points together to determine the total amount of quality points. - Calculate GPA
Divide the total quality points by the total credit amount to get your Nursing GPA.- Total Quality Points / Total Credits = Nrusing GPA

Use the equation below for step 6 to calculate your Nursing GPA.
Take your Total Quality Points and divide by your Total Credits. That will give you
your Nursing GPA.
Total Quality Points / Total Credits = Nursing GPA
