The Science and Mathematics Career Community is right for you if you enjoy solving problems by applying scientific and mathematics principles and engaging in hands-on investigation.
All of the programs in this Career Community offer a path to transfer into a four-year or bachelor's degree program while the biotechnology and chemical technology degrees offer a path to employment as well. Programs in this Career Community can lead to work in areas such as biology, biotechnology, chemical technology, chemistry, computer science, engineering/physics, environmental technology, geography, geology/physical sciences, and mathematics. You can also focus on preparing to enter a teacher preparation program for secondary certification or moving into advanced study in STEM fields including higher education, medicine or pharmacy.
