Reflections on Employment
How did you get your start at LCC? What do you remember most from your first day/week/month?
I started at LCC in March, 2011 at the East campus. I felt so grateful to land this part-time position as the Continuing Education Coordinator, which fit into my busy lifestyle so well. It was many new procedures and processes to learn!
Have you held different positions at LCC? How would you describe your career path and the role that LCC played in it?
I have remained in this part-time administrator position as Continuing Education Coordinator for my entire career at LCC. In 2019, I began teaching in the School of Business also, which I truly enjoyed because it gave me more contact with students.
What's your favorite memory from your time at LCC? Who are the people who made working here great?
I feel very grateful to have been able to teach and work at the Livingston County Center for many years. I will always cherish the great camaraderie there with staff and other adjuncts.
What were your greatest accomplishments or successes while working at LCC?
Being able to provide excellent customer service to our students, partners, and faculty is what I hope to be able to pass on as my legacy here at LCC.
What are you looking forward to in your retirement? What plans are you most excited for?
I am looking forward to traveling, gardening, sewing, reading, and spending more time with family and friends.

What I will remember most about Carolyn is her unwavering passion for BCI's customers. Whether supporting students, adult learners, or trainers, Carolyn has always been driven to create the most effective and positive experience possible. Her dedication has left a lasting impact, and things simply won’t be the same without her.
