LCC is hosting its 11th annual Transfer Fair this year in collaboration with the Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 22, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Both fairs will be held in the Gannon Building Commons, which can be accessed with a StarCard. All LCC students and the general public are encouraged to visit the fairs.

Graham Berke, the systems and operations manager for the LCC University Center and Transfer Initiatives, said this year LCC is hosting 20-plus universities.

“Students can expect over 20 universities to be in attendance to answer questions,” Berke said. “The event will take place throughout all of the Gannon Commons Area, but the Transfer Fair will be specifically hosted in the Michigan Room, which is on the first floor of the Gannon (Building).”

Although registration for the event is not required, it is encouraged and can be completed here. More general information about the transfer fair can be found through that link as well, and a list of the attending universities can be found here.

Rebecca Sowa from the Career and Employment Services department and lead for the Job and Internship Fair, said the job fair will have over 80 employers attending to answer students’ questions and offer different job positions.

“The job fair will bring over 80 employers hiring for part-time, full-time and internship opportunities from a variety of industries,” Sowa said. “This is an annual fair, our first back in person since 2020, that is open to all LCC students and the general public.

“Students can expect to meet recruiters from a variety of organizations to discuss employment opportunities. This is a great opportunity for students to explore career opportunities, build their professional network, and submit resumes for internships, full-time and part-time opportunities.”

More information on the employers attending and event registration can be found here.
