On Tuesday, Aug. 23, Student Affairs will host the LCC Campus Resource and Registered Student Organization Fair. Director of Student Life Patti Ayers said this event will be held at the downtown campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“At the fair, students will learn how to make the most out of their LCC college experience by taking advantage of all the awesome campus resources available to them,” Ayers said.
On Wednesday, Aug. 24, there will be more free school supplies, snacks, popcorn and free cookies at both the downtown and west campuses.
On Thursday, Aug. 25, LCC’s annual “Party with the Prez” will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 1 p.m. During this event, there will be free food, live music, games, gift cards, and other prizes for students.
LCC student Julie Eiler said she is most excited for the upcoming “Party with the Prez” event.
“Last year I won a gas gift card that paid for my trip to Ohio and back, so I’m really excited to enter into more of those giveaways,” Eiler said. “They also had really good food last time and axe throwing, so hopefully that comes back.”
