Many bars line Michigan Avenue in Lansing, from the Nuthouse downtown all the way
to Mac’s near East Lansing. But on Sunday night, April 30, no place was alive like
The Avenue Cafe.
The LCC Rock Band brought the crowded room to its feet with some terrific performances from a rotating cast of band members. The band came together to deliver powerful vocal performances and a variety of instrumental showcases.
The colorful lights shined upon the band’s dazzling jewelry, flashy makeup and grungy clothing to perfect the hard-rock ambiance.
The crowd couldn’t resist singing along, as popular rock songs from the ‘70s to the 2010s echoed down Michigan Avenue. The pool hustlers and arcade gamers alike stopped to enjoy the intoxicating display.
On top of this, the show was free, leaving guests to enjoy a drink that could easily spill on the dance floor.
