Stressed about upcoming finals? Taking a quick break and checking out some of LCC’s Finals Frenzy activities may help relieve some stress.
Throughout the week of April 29 to May 3, on both main campus and west campus, there will be many free events for students to check out. From snacks to crafts, there is something for everyone looking to take a study break.
LCC Conference Services Manager Kelley Hekler said Finals Frenzy is to help students during finals week.
“Finals Frenzy is designed to give students some fun and relaxing activities to enjoy before and during finals and commencement,” she said. “We hope they will be able to destress with free snacks and drinks, T-shirts, coloring activities, photo booths and more, and also feel prepared with free school supplies, study tips and more.”
On main campus every day, there will be a free photo booth, puzzles, craft supplies and study supplies. There will be “Donuts with the Dean” on Thursday, May 2, along with food trucks and various snack options offered throughout the week.
There will also be a “Yogurt, Oatmeal and Trail Mix Bar” in the TLC building on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, along with “Crafternoon” on Wednesday and Thursday. The photo booth, free supplies and puzzles can also be found in the TLC building.
In the Gannon Building, students can find free school supplies, popcorn and snacks on Monday, April 29. The rest of the week they will be able to do “Zen doodles” in the Success Lounge, and “Chips and Tips” with success coaches.
West campus is offering free snacks, coloring books and “Inspirational Stress Stars” all week. It will also have occasional food trucks available.
