From November 10 to 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and November 24 to 26 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be “The Professional Clothing Pop-Up Shop” for all students to attend. The pop-up gives students the opportunity to select free, donated, professional clothing at the Career Center. Students are not required to sign into the event in order to look around at items. The only thing they have to do is show up!
According to Becca Sowa, The Internship Development Manager here at LCC, the purpose of the event is to provide free professional clothing for students so they can be successful in the workplace free of cost. “The pop-up shop is important to students as it provides free professional clothing for students,” Sowa said. “Students may have upcoming interviews or jobs that require professional attire. The Pop-up shop can assist with this at no cost to the student.”
All clothing for the event has been donated and has not been professionally cleaned. Styles and sizes will also be limited.
