
Employee Development Fund
The LCC Foundation supports employees across LCC campuses through the Employee Development Fund (EDF), a membership based group. EDF was established to bring together employees who care about their institution and choose to make an investment in its future.
EDF Mission Statement:
The Employee Development Fund was created for employees, by employees, to provide opportunities, promote fellowship and fun, and enhance our everyday work life.
Membership
Membership is open to every College employee at a minimum of $26 per year. If you are not currently an EDF member, you may join by calling 517-483-1985. Membership dues may be paid by payroll deduction or on an annual basis using the EDF Membership Form.
EDF supports Employees in the following ways:
- Monthly activities, events, educational and enrichment opportunities
- Professional Development Grants
- Emergency Needs Support

EDF events are open to all LCC Employees and their guests, unless otherwise noted. The monthly activities are designed to promote the mission of EDF through fun and fellowship.

Wine Tasting at Burgdorf Winery
When: Friday, February 10 and Saturday,
February 11, 2012 from 6:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Burgdorf Winery,
Haslett, MI
Cost: $20 per person
Details: Enjoy an EDF Private Wine Tasting at Burgdorf Winery. The cost
includes tasting lessons, a souvenir glass, and light refreshments. Each
evening is limited to 20 people.
Detroit Red Wings vs. Minnesota Wild
When: Friday, March 2, 2012 from
3:30pm-11:00pm
Where:
Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, MI
Game Time: 7:30pm
Cost: $35 EDF Members and $38 Non-Members; Includes
Transportation

Dinner Options: The bus will stop near Greek Town and Hockey Town as
convenient locations for dinner. Attendees are responsible for their own dinner
(not included).
Les Miserables at MSU's Wharton Center
When: Sunday, April 8, 2012 at 6:30pm
Where: Wharton Center,
MSU, East Lansing, MI
Cost: $55 EDF Members or $61 Non-Members ($65 box office value)
Details: Zone 1 seating will provide a great view of "an epic and
uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit."
