Grand River Studio Sessions

Fridays: 5pm

Grand River Studio Sessions! It was 2005 when WLNZ began its popular Grand River Radio music series showcasing talented musicians from the Great Lakes region. The concept began as a monthly concert held at unique venues around Lansing. Then LCC Radio reinvented the concept in 2008 as a weekly acoustic show and live broadcast. Now we continue that celebration of Great Lakes music with the Grand River Studio Sessions, an LCC Radio and LCC-TV simulcast presentation. The goal: create an atmosphere that gives our listeners and viewers an up close and personal experience inside a live studio session.

Classic Arts Showcase

Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm

Classic Arts ShowcaseThe Classic Arts Showcase (CAS) has been described as "kind of a classical MTV". Programming includes live recorded performances. documentaries, and a variety of features connected to the classical arts. There is no program guide for CAS, because the beauty of CAS is that you’ll never know what to expect. One moment you might be watching a rare film of George Gershwin performing one of his own compositions on the piano, and less than five minutes later you might see Beverly Sills in a great moment from a classic opera.
