Early LCC is managed by Educational Child Care Center (EC3). EC3 is one of Lansing's premier child care centers, with 30 years of trusted service to the Greater Lansing community.
Early LCC has traditionally been rated a 5Star center under the State of Michigan's new Great Start to Quality-Tiered Quality Improvement Rating System and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. EC3 is currently in the review process for our new rating at the center.
It continues to serve a field experience for LCC's Child Development and Early Education program, which is also NAEYC accredited.
Early LCC operates full-time programming, year-round. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Fees include formula, baby food, table foods (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack), allergy substitutions, diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, sunscreen, insect repellant, and field trips. There are no fundraisers. Programming includes home visits, developmental assessments and parent-teacher conferences.
Scholarships and Subsidies
Early LCC fees may be offset for eligible families through funding by a number of agencies, including (but not limited to): CDC Childcare Subsidy, Head Start, Great Start Readiness Preschool, Women's Resource Center, City of Lansing - Office of Young Children Childcare Subsidy. Opportunities for scholarships and subsidies are explained during the enrollment process. Eligibility requirements apply.
Fees are calculated with full-time programming and are due the first of each month regardless of a child's absence. A signed parent contract is required prior to enrollment. Each classroom has a maximum group size.
