Black Business Expo and Entrepreneur Pitch Competition graphic

Lansing Community College’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting an inaugural Black Business Expo and Entrepreneur Pitch Competition. This FREE event is part of LCC’s celebration of the 400 years of African American History Commission Act. Business owners and community agencies are invited to participate in the Expo to showcase their services, products, and information. Although this a celebration of Black owned business, all community members are welcome to attend, showcase and/or enter the pitch competition!

Expo vendors will be allowed to sell their merchandise, advertise their company, as well as recruit for hiring vacancies. This is an excellent opportunity to promote your business to the community and network with fellow entrepreneurs.

There will also be a pitch competition for entrepreneurs to sell their ideas or services to a panel of judges with a chance to win cash prizes! All entries will have the opportunity to attend a “prep seminar” prior to the event with tips on how to perfect your pitch.

Enjoy local food trucks on site for the day as well as tours of the LCC West campus facilities. Register for the event under an attendee, entrepreneur and/or vendor. If vendors would like to be a part of the pitch competition, please register under both areas. It is not necessary to register as an attendee as well. Space is limited for Vendors and Entrepreneur entries so register now!
